Students: Tardies have already started! Last Monday was the first day of logging tardies. Make sure you are in class on time and arriving on time. There will be consequences. 

 There are sign-up sheets in the high school front office for any students interested in FCCLA, Jr. High Girls Basketball, Educator Rising, High School Cross Country, and FFA.

 If you are a high school boy who is interested in playing High School Basketball you need to attend Cross Country practice in order to be able to try out once basketball season starts. That is if you are not playing High School Baseball.

 On Saturday, October 22nd there will be a Firemen’s Fall Festival Parade in Mounds, if any club or organization are interested in participating vendor applications are in the guidance office.

 6th-8th grade students who would like to participate in Project Achieve for Pulaski County (strengthening youth family and community program) please see guidance.

 21st Century will be sponsoring our Freshman Academy which will start August 22-25 after school from 3-5pm. This is a mandatory academy for all freshman to attend.

 Lincoln Tech College/NADC- Rep. Lance Ruebel will visit our juniors and seniors during the lunch block on Wednesday, September 14th.

 College of the Ozarks- Rep. Michael McGinnis will visit our juniors and seniors during the lunch block on Wednesday, September 7th.

 Attention all juniors and seniors who would like to visit Tennessee State University in Nashville, TN on October 13th there is a sign-up sheet in the guidance office.

 All juniors and seniors who would like to visit Harris Stowe University in St. Louis on September 20th need to sign-up in the guidance office.

 All juniors and seniors who would like to visit the college fair in Sikeston, MO on Oct 25th there is a sign-up sheet in guidance office.  

 Students: Grades 6 through 12 Congressional App Challenge is a competition that encourages students to create their own app for the opportunity to receive national recognition. Students may participate as individuals or in teams of up to four. Winners may be eligible to have their app featured on a display in the capital building in Washington D.C. and will be honored by their member of congress. If interested please see Ms. Bremer or guidance for informational packet. The deadline is November 1st and winners will be announced in December.

 Yearbook pre-order forms are available in Ms. Trover’s room 21. They are $15 through September 15th if ordered after September 15th they are $25.

 Activities:

MS Softball- Will host New Simpson Hill @4:30pm.

MS Baseball- Will host New Simpson Hill @4:30pm.

HS Baseball-Practice 3-5pm.

HS Volleyball – Practice 3-5pm.

HS Cross Country – Practice 3-5pm.

Freshman Academy will meet from 3-5pm.
