Students: Tardies have already started! Last Monday was the first day of logging tardies. Make sure you are in class on time and arriving on time. There will be consequences.  This year tardies accumulate even if you have already served it.

 The Freshman Academy was a HUGE SUCCESS, Ms. Harley would like to thank 21st Century for sponsoring the academy and all who participated; students, faculty, parents, staff and our community organizations. “Teamwork does make the dream work” ~Ms. Harley

 There are sign-up sheets in the high school front office for any students interested in Jr. High Girls Basketball, Educator Rising, High School Cross Country, and FFA.

 FCCLA will meet today during junior high lunch today.

 High School Boys if interested in playing high school basketball it is required to participate in Cross Country practice in order to be able to try out for basketball once basketball season starts. Cross Country is a requirement for boys who are not on the baseball team. Coach Larry.

 6th-8th grade students who would like to participate in Project Achieve for Pulaski County (strengthening youth family and community program) please see guidance.

 If any middle school girls are interested in playing junior high basketball you will have until August 31st to sign-up.

 College of the Ozarks- Rep. Michael McGinnis will visit our juniors and seniors during the lunch block on Wednesday, September 7th.

 Any student who would like to participate in after school enrichment permission slips are in the front office. After school enrichment will start on September 12th

 Lincoln Tech College/NADC- Rep. Lance Ruebel will visit our juniors and seniors during the lunch block on Wednesday, September 14th.

 Yearbook pre-order forms are available in Ms. Trover’s room 21. They are $15 through September 15th if ordered after September 15th they are $25.

 All juniors and seniors who would like to visit Harris Stowe University in St. Louis on September 20th need to sign-up in the guidance office.

 Attention all juniors and seniors who would like to visit Tennessee State University in Nashville, TN on October 13th there is a sign-up sheet in the guidance office.

 On Saturday, October 22nd there will be a Firemen’s Fall Festival Parade in Mounds, if any club or organization are interested in participating vendor applications are in the guidance office.

On Saturday, October 22nd the Annual Pulaski Pecan Bonanza will be in Pulaski, IL from 8am to 4pm. The parade will start at 1:30pm.

 All juniors and seniors who would like to visit the college fair in Sikeston, MO on Oct 25th there is a sign-up sheet in guidance office.  

 Attention: Seniors –VFW Scholarship opportunity – Deadline October 31st. Please see guidance if interested. 

Students: Grades 6 through 12 Congressional App Challenge is a competition that encourages students to create their own app for the opportunity to receive national recognition. Students may participate as individuals or in teams of up to four. Winners may be eligible to have their app featured on a display in the capital building in Washington D.C. and will be honored by their member of congress. If interested please see Ms. Bremer or guidance for informational packet. The deadline is November 1st and winners will be announced in December.

 High School Baseball does have a game today at Shawnee. They will be dismissed from class at 2:30pm. The bus will leave at 2:45pm.
