Meridian Community Unit School District #101 will hold registration for the 2017-18 school year for all grade levels on Thursday, June 22 from 8 AM until 3 PM.
Documents and information required for enrollment include Proof of Residency, Birth Certificate, Proof of Immunizations and, depending on grade level, Current Physical Examination.

Junior High Baseball tryouts for the 2017 fall season will be held Thursday, May 18th after school. Any 5th, 6th, or 7th graders wishing to attend should report to Mr. Conley’s room, room 19, immediately after school on Thursday, May 18th. Bring a baseball glove, tennis shoes, baseball cleats, and a hat if you have one. If you cannot attend on this day and wish to play please have your teacher email Mr. Conley at email@example.com the end of the day on Thursday, May 18th.
Girls interested in signing up for Middle School Softball may do so in the High School Office before Friday, May 5.

Roderick Gatewood – Hurdles
Ethan Woodworth – 100 Yard Dash
The State Track Meet will be Saturday, May 13, 2017, at 9 AM at Herrin High School.

Congratulations to Darnell Lowe He was selected to the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association All-District Team and to the Southern Illinois Coaches Association Class A All-South Team.
Van's Custom Culture Group
Jaren Holley is leading a group of Bobcats in the Van's Custom Culture shoe design competition. Over the next month, they will design and create 4 pairs of custom shoes. They are competing with schools from all over the country and are looking forward to putting us on the map for our artistic abilities. Any student interested in helping out should contact either Jaren Holley or Mr. Trefil.
