On Wednesday, May 12th when we have a ½ day of classes we will hold an athletic awards program for athletes who finished the season as a member of their respective teams. High school athletes report to the high school gym at 8:30 am. Do not be tardy. We have 40 minutes to disperse the high school awards. Middle school athletes should report to the gym at 9: 50 am or the presentations of awards by their coaches. Pictures may be taken of those players who were all-Conference selections – please remain after the session if you were an all-Conference choice of opposing coaches.
Attention: There is a Jr. High Boys Basketball Sign-Up sheet in the front office for the 2021-2022 school year.
Students it is getting warm outside! Please make sure you are dressing according to the Meridian Dress Code listed in the handbook. We are enforcing the school dress code. Please refer to page 33 and 34 of your Student Handbook. Staff are watching. If you are dressed inappropriately you will be sent home to change.
The High School Media Team is taking preorders for the 2020-2021 Yearbook. You may pick up a yearbook form any time. If ordered by May 15th, the 2020-2021 Yearbook preorder cost will be $15. The price will be more after that date. Please give the form and $15 to Dr. Trover in Room 21 or turn the form and money into the High School Office. Checks can be made to Meridian High School Yearbook.

For those senior students who have applied for Scholarships through Shawnee Community College, remember to check your email for notifications of award offers (use the email that you used when you signed up in the scholarship database which may have been your shawneecc email, a personal email, or your High School email). It is very important to watch your email for these offers!
