If you like trivia then high school scholar bowl is for you!!! Any high school students
interested in joining the High School Scholar Bowl Team there is a sign-up sheet in the
front office. Last day to sign-up will be Friday, September 30 th .
Any students that would like to join MS Scholar Bowl please sign up on the sheet in the
office. Ms. Craig will be bringing treats to every practice! Come have some fun and get your
trivia on!
If anyone is interested in the Junior Class Club sign-up sheets are in the front office.
United States Army- Rep. Sergeant McPray will visit our juniors and seniors during the
lunch block on today, September 29th.
Starting October 3 rd the Middle School Boys Basketball team will be having try outs.
On Thursday, October 6 th all seniors will attend a “SCC Experience 2022” at Shawnee
Community College. The bus will leave at 11am and return at approximately 1:45pm.
Yearbook sales contest will be held until, October 7th. The yearbooks are $15. The class
with the most sales percentage will have a pizza party! Each sale will get an individual
ticket for a $50 gift card. See Dr. Trover for forms and more information
Attention all juniors and seniors who would like to visit Tennessee State University in
Nashville, TN on October 13th there is a sign-up sheet in the guidance office. Deadline to
sign-up will be Monday, October 3 rd .
On Wednesday, October 19 th there will be a half-day for school improvement.
On Saturday, October 22 nd there will be a Firemen’s Fall Festival Parade in Mounds, if any
club or organization are interested in participating vendor applications are in the guidance
office.
On Saturday, October 22 nd the Annual Pulaski Pecan Bonanza will be in Pulaski, IL from
8am to 4pm. The parade will start at 1:30pm.
All juniors and seniors who would like to visit the college fair in Sikeston, MO on Oct 25 th
there is a sign-up sheet in guidance office. Deadline to sign-up will be Monday, October 3 rd .
Attention: Seniors –VFW Scholarship opportunity – Deadline October 31st. Please see
guidance if interested.
Seniors the PTSO (Parent Teacher Student Organization) Scholarship is available in the
guidance office. One of the main criteria to apply for this scholarship is that you have to
attend 4 PTSO meetings. The meetings will take place every 2 nd Wednesday of each month
at 6pm. Please see guidance if interested.
Activities:
21 st Century Enrichment in both buildings till 5pm.
HS Baseball- Practice 3-5pm.
HS Volleyball – VS Agape Christian. Game starts at 6pm.
HS Cross Country – Practice 3-5pm.
MS Girls Basketball- Practice 3-5pm. In elementary gym.
HS Cheer- Practice 3-5pm.
MS Cheer- No practice.
HS Boys Basketball Boot Camp from 3-5pm.
