Tomorrow, Tuesday, February 22, 2022, Meridian CUSD #101 will be reverting to the approved Return to School Plan. Meridian CUSD #101 is terribly saddened to announce the unexpected passing of Mrs. Anita Marks. Mrs. Marks was a Special Education teacher at Meridian for the past 4 years, but previously had worked in the District as a paraprofessional before earning her education degree and beginning her teaching career at Egyptian School District. Mrs. Marks was a tremendous teacher, wife, mother, grandmother and friend and will be missed dearly. Mrs. Marks smile, humor and candor could light up a room and that is what she would want everyone else to do. Services for Mrs. Marks will be held at Meridian High School on Thursday, February 24, 2022. Visitation will be from 12pm-1pm with funeral services to follow.
Meridian High School will host the High School Boys' Regional game Saturday, February 19. Game time is 6 PM. Admission is $5 for everyone.
Meridian's Enrichment activities are canceled for today, Thursday, February 17. All students will be coming home at regular dismissal.
Meridian School District will be out of school Friday, February 18 and on Monday February 21 in honor of President's Day.
Meridian School District will have an early dismissal tomorrow, Wednesday, February 16. All students will be dismissed at 11AM.
