Friday, December 17 is the last day of school at Meridian School District before the Christmas holiday. Students will return Thursday, January 6, 2022 and we will resume our 3PM dismissal. Enrichment activities will resume January 10.

The Meridian High School Speech and Drama Club would like to invite everyone out Wednesday, December 15 at 5 PM to enjoy the performance of "A Christmas Carol: A School Remix". Admission is free. We will have limited concessions for sale and items available for a silent auction as well. Please come out and support the club members in their debut performance.
The game between Meridian and Century this evening has been postponed and will be rescheduled for a later date. The games between Meridian and Goreville scheduled for tomorrow have also been postponed. There will be no game this evening and no game tomorrow.

Tonight’s JV/Varsity Boys Basketball game vs. Century, the JV game will start at 5:45pm with two shortened halves. Varsity game at approximately 6:25pm.
Meridian Elementary students in Grades PreK through 5 will present a musical Christmas program Wednesday, December 15 at 9AM in the Elementary Gym. Parents and Grandparents are welcome to attend.
Face masks are required and hand sanitizer will be available .
The Speech and Drama Club would like to invite everyone out on Wednesday, December 15th at 5 P.M. to enjoy the performance of A Christmas Carol: A School Remix. Meridian school district will host Lifetouch studios tomorrow morning for make up pictures or retake pictures.
Southern 7 Health Dept. will also be at Meridian from 9 am to 6 pm with Covid 19 vaccines.
Tonight’s Varsity Boys Basketball game vs. Cobden is cancelled. Cobden had to cancel due to Covid-19 testing. A makeup date will be announced at a later date.
Lifetouch Studios will be in Meridian School District Tuesday morning, December 7, to take pictures of those students and staff who were unavailable to have their photos taken in October or to retake photos. If you have any questions, please call the schools.
