Free Cooking Class for Kids!
Mr. Larry and Dr. Thomas' 5th Grade classes hosted a Color Promotion/Awards Party. The four teams selected a color clothing to wear with coordinating foods to eat (green, red, purple and blue).

Not only do our yearbooks highlight achievements, but they also celebrate the spirit of our school’s community. Yearbooks are a showcase of individuals, group activities, clubs, sports teams, and events. They also foster a sense of camaraderie.

The kindergarten teachers hosted a glow party for their students and according to one student “it was the best day of his life”. Needless to say it was FUN!
Due to all the rain Field day will be on Wednesday to allow the ground to dry out.
There will be no school on Monday, May 27th in observance of Memorial Day.
Thanks to our Penny Wars fundraiser Meridian Elementary celebrated PBIS water day on Monday with water slides, inflatable games, water balloons, ice pops, and lots of fun! Thank you to everyone who helped make this fun day happen!
Mrs. Hawkins & Ms. Wilkins 2nd Grade Students visited the Ice Cream Truck today!
5th grade presented their culminating science projects. This was a learning experience in which students developed and demonstrated science, math, writing, critical thinking, research, technology, and communication skills.
These awesome 4th graders worked on a STEM activity in class and made RC cars!
These students used their PBIS points at the PBIS store to purchase lunch with Mr. Green! He surprised these students with a tasty treat from Sonic!
Meridian CUSD 101 will have an early dismissal on Thursday, May 30th 2024. Students will be dismissed at 9 AM and will be bringing home reports cards. Thank you for another year great year with your children. We hope everyone has a fun and safe summer. We can't wait to see you back August!
Mrs. Hawkins 2nd Grade Class had a "NACHO" Average Reader Party to celebrate their year- long reading accomplishments. They enjoyed nachos, Kool-Aid, dancing, art activities and extra recess. During the party students received awards in Reading, Math, IXL Excellence and more. ALL students reached 50 points or more during the year. Four remaining students were awarded $5.00 in the 4th quarter for reaching the 50 point goal. One student, Ms. Da'Kodah Vaughn earned a total of 107 AR points this year and was awarded $10.00. She is 1 out of 4 students in grade K-5 to reach this achievement. There is also one 4th grader, and two 5th graders to make the 100 Point Club this school year.
